Studio Set Up

Today I set up some test shots for my Youtube videos. I want a cozy autumnal vibe. I am still struggling to figure out how to add light that makes the scene look warm and dark yet keep every detail visible.

There will be a huge blue screen behind me so you can ignore by actual bedroom junk. I am pretty pleased with the set up. It turns out all the decorations I already own was enough to fill the table to my liking.

Yes here I am testing my camera's focus. It focuses on my face in video mode but not in picture mode so it looks a bit blurry but besides that I'm pretty happy with the way it looks.

Here's the other side!

I need the blue screen to be as far away from the desk as possible so the lights illuminating it don't effect my face. I also have to put my entire tripod on my desk because my room lacks space lol.

I'll have to link my camera to my monitor because there is no way I can see this small image 6ft away and I want to make sure that I keep everything in focus. There's nothing worse than filming for hours and realizing it was all out of focus.

The last thing I tested today was my drawing screen. I did a couple test videos of me drawing on the tablet. I have to keep the lights dark in order to see the contrast. Love that my new tripod can turn completely vertically so that I can record video for Instagram and TikTok.
Ok that was all for today! My next update will probably be my blue screen set up and my 3D rendering. Bye!
